How to Read the Chart
  1. Find the Day/time order submitted (leftmost column)
  2. Find the delivery option selection intersection
For example, if the order was submitted Tuesday 4PM Pacific Time and 2nd Day Air is selected, then the order will arrive on Friday (the intersection of Tuesday 6AM - Wednesday 559AM PT and 2nd Day Air)

Business Days are defined as Monday through Friday except for New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Only business days are counted when calculating your arrival date.
How to Read the UPS Ground Map

Map is color coded. To calculate the UPS Ground Arrival Date

  1. Identify the color associated with your location
  2. Identify the number of days associated with your color
  3. Use the Next Day Air Day associated with your shipment as day 1 and continue from there.
For example, if the delivery destination is Beverly Hills California, the color code is 4 days. If the order was submitted Monday 559AM Pacific Time, the order will arrive Friday (day 1 for Friday 6AM - Monday 559AM PT is Tuesday, day 2 is Wednesday, day 3 is Thursday, day 4 is Friday)
Points to note:
  1. In most cases, 3 Day Select is not a cost effective choice. UPS Ground orders will arrive in three business days or less for over half of the country. For example, a UPS ground shipment to New York will arrive in three business days so there is no benefit to paying the 3 day Select rate.
  2. If you live in the Los Angeles area, it is probably not cost effective to choose 3 day select as UPS Ground orders will arrive in four business days.
  3. Ground, 3 Day Select and Next Day Air Saver rates are not available for AK, HI, Bermuda and the Caribbean.
  4. UPS tracking id will be sent via email within two business days of order submission.
